Plymouth University’s Politics and International Affairs Society (PIASOC) believes that everyone can influence the political scene through combined and individual diversity of knowledge and expression of opinion. PIASOC aspires to provide those students interested in politics or international affairs a forum to freely engage and exchange views and opinions at both social and formal events. This is achieved by exchange of opinion in a civil, fare, honest, sometimes heated, but always respectful environment. By participation in any PIASOC event you accept this rule.
PIASOC holds NO political views, biases, affiliations or influence; it is non-partisan. It is purely a vehicle for you to explore politics and international relations.
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors." - Plato (457BC-347BC)
